I was surfing Hulu and found some classic television shows that I wanted to introduce to Matthew. So . . . we started with this one . . . and he LOVES it! We have watched the first seven episodes (David lasted through three) and Matthew has yet to meet . . . Arnold! (He had a brief moment in the first episode.)
I loved watching this show when I was little. I thought Mrs. Douglas (Lisa) was the most beautiful woman and had the most beautiful clothes. I knew when I grew up that I would buy beautiful nightgowns to walk around the house in. This coming from a big tomboy!
Matthew has become infatuated with the name "Eb" . . . and has decided that it is his new nickname. (Eb is the name of the Douglas' farmhand.) Me . . . I'm trying to still understand why Mr. Douglas (Oliver) farmed in a suit. David . . . he's going nuts because Matthew and I are singing the theme song over and over again.
. . . . farm living is the life for me!
